The story behind the image:

I didn't observe when he surreptitiously pulled out a liquor bottle until back in the studio. His status in life, his paper crown, his soft human demeanor all seemed in conflict with the harsh granite wall and contradictory restaurant environment in the background. Three years later while discussing Vortex with a friend, he literally walked right into me.

I will never forget him, and suspect, neither should you.
