The story behind the image:

I wanted to present the dichotomy of four iconic images: polluting smokestacks, purified water, dancing Gecko feet, and the FOOTACTION sign while capturing a credible sense of perspective to accentuate the movement of pedestrians.

To achieve the neon lighted fabric, I resorted to rubbing through several layers of dried acrylics, then glazing with layers of fresh Ferrari red urethane paint.
