The story behind the image:

This is one of Saratoga's many faces. That of the bettor. Most folks go to the track to watch the horses, socialize, drink and bet. I spend my time there looking at and studying the character of the track and all its moving parts.

A lot of drawing went into this painting, in particular the fence. However, drawing can only go so far until the paints just need to come out.
